Good to know:

We recommend you arrive for this tour wearing swimwear (such as board shorts and a rash shirt or T-shirt) and a sarong. If you don’t wish to join the tour wearing your sarong, Dewi can assist you with tying it when you arrive at the temple.

The ceremony is in three parts: the offering, the water purification ritual and the blessing. Dewi will be on hand to explain each step. Please note that menstruating women are not permitted to enter the spring water pool but may take part in the offering and blessing.

Before taking part in the offering, all bags and personal items such as phones, hats and glasses should be stored in a locker – available free of charge.

During the offering you are required to wear a sarong and enter the temple barefoot.

The water purification ritual involves complete immersion in the spring water pool as you pass along each of the 11 fountains. You will enter the pool barefoot wearing your sarong.

Male and female changing rooms are available for you to change into dry clothes after taking part in the water purification ritual.

After changing, Dewi will assist you with tying your ceremonial sash (provided by Dewi) for the blessing in the temple.
